Frankie’s Red, also called Orange Dwarf, is an Edgar Valdivia Hawaiian hybrid that ripens from green through yellow to a vibrant orange. Inside, the flesh is a striking red with white highlights and a notably sweet, lemonade-like flavor with a hint of berry — testing as high as 21 Brix.
It’s self-fertile with easy fruit set, though hand-pollination helps. Note it’s a slow grower with a compact habit, rewarding patient growers with premium fruit.
