Return Policy

Who this is from. MyDragonPlug (“the Marketplace,” “we,” “us”) operates the storefront at mydragonplug.com and is the merchant of record for your order. Independent partner farms grow and ship the fruit, but we process your payment and stand behind this policy for every fresh-fruit order, no matter which farm fulfills it. All questions and claims go to one place: [email protected] — when you write in, we bring in the farm that grew and shipped your fruit to help resolve it, but honoring this policy is our responsibility, not something you have to chase farm by farm.

Our commitment. Fresh dragon fruit is perishable and travels through the mail, so some natural variation is normal. Even so, your fruit should arrive sound and edible. If it doesn’t — because it was damaged or spoiled in transit, arrived in poor condition, or didn’t arrive at all — we’ll make it right under the terms below. We choose the packaging and the carrier, so getting your fruit to you in good condition is our responsibility; you are not on the hook for ordinary shipping heat, cold, or handling.

If something’s wrong, tell us promptly

Email [email protected] as soon as you reasonably can:

  • Shipping damage, or fruit that arrives spoiled / in poor condition: within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Ripening or quality issues that appear over a few days (internal rot, won’t ripen, over-ripe on arrival): within 5 days of delivery.

If a delivery lands while you’re traveling, or over a weekend or holiday, just let us know — we’ll work with you on timing. We won’t turn down a fair claim only because of the clock.

What helps us help you: a short description of the problem and, if you can, a photo or quick video of the affected fruit and the packaging. Photos help us resolve claims quickly and improve our packing — but we will not deny a genuine claim just because a photo is blurry or missing. If photos aren’t practical, tell us and we’ll find another way to sort it out.

How we make it right

  • Whole order damaged or spoiled on arrival: by default we’ll re-ship your order at no cost. Prefer your money back instead? Just say so and we’ll issue a full refund to your original payment method, including shipping.
  • Part of the order affected: we’ll re-ship the affected portion, or issue a proportional credit or refund for it (for example, 1 of 5 pieces verified bad = up to 1/5 of the fruit price). When the rest of your order arrives fine, original shipping isn’t separately refunded for a partial issue.
  • Not delivered, lost in transit, or it never shipped on time: you’re entitled to a full refund of everything you paid, including shipping (or a re-ship, if you’d rather). This applies regardless of the photo/notice steps above.
  • Ripening / quality issues: reviewed case by case, in good faith, with the same re-ship-or-refund options.

We aim to acknowledge your claim within 1 business day, reach a decision within 3 business days of receiving what we need, and issue any approved re-ship or refund within 5 business days of approval.

A few things to know

  • Natural variation isn’t a defect. Differences in size, color, shape, sweetness, and minor cosmetic marks or natural scarring are normal for fresh dragon fruit and aren’t covered — but anything that makes the fruit inedible or not as described is.
  • After-delivery handling. We can’t cover fruit that spoils because a package was left outside in heat, cold, or rain after a successful delivery, or from other handling once it has reached you.
  • Carrier problems are ours to chase. If a carrier loses or badly delays a shipment, we’ll re-ship or refund you first and sort it out with the carrier ourselves. You don’t have to file a carrier claim.

Your other rights

This policy is in addition to, not instead of, your rights under the law. Nothing here limits any right you may have under applicable consumer-protection or warranty law, or your right to dispute a charge with your card issuer. If any part of this policy conflicts with a right that cannot legally be waived, that right still applies.

Reach us anytime at [email protected] — we read every message and will work with you in good faith.
