Asunta 2 is a hybrid dragon fruit created by Edgar Valdivia, a member of the California Rare Fruit Growers, crossing Hylocereus stenopterus and Hylocereus guatemalensis. It’s known for a sweet flavor with notes of coconut and lychee, sometimes with hints of cinnamon or peach.

- Appearance: Green skin with pink undertones and lime-green fins when ripe – ripeness can be tricky to judge.
