Sugar Dragon Fruit Information

• Flavor Profile: It offers a sweet taste with a distinct blend of tropical, berry, and floral notes, often described as having hints of raspberry, lychee, and rosewater.
• Sweetness (Brix): The fruit's sugar content typically measures between 18 and 20 Brix, but mature plants can produce fruit in the low twenties.
• Fruit Size: Sugar Dragon produces smaller, oval-shaped fruit, averaging 0.5 to 0.75 pounds (about 100 to 400 grams).
• Flesh: The inner flesh is a bright, semi-firm, red-purplish color with tiny, edible black seeds that provide a crunchy texture.
• Plant Characteristics: It is a robust, fast-growing cactus with thick, olive-green stems. It is self-pollinating and an excellent universal pollinator, meaning its pollen can be used to pollinate almost any other dragon fruit variety.
